Victoria Alonsoperez

Victoria is an Electronics and Telecommunication Engineer and an entrepreneur. She invented Chipsafer, a platform that can track and detect anomalies in cattle behavior remotely and autonomously. Thanks to Chipsafer in 2012 she was the winner of the International Telecommunication Union Young Innovators Competition and in 2013 she won the Best Young Inventor Award from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). In 2014 the Inter-American Development Bank selected Chipsafer as the Most Innovative Startup of Latin America and the Caribbean, and the MIT Technology Review selected Victoria as the Innovator of the Year ā€“ Argentina & Uruguay.

Victoria graduated from Universidad de la Republica, the International Space University, and Singularity University. From 2014 until 2016 Victoria served as Chair of Space Generation Advisory Council, and she is currently a member of the Advisory Board. Victoria is also the New Generation Member of the Board of Directors of the Space Foundation.
