Andrea Jaime Albalat

Andrea Jaime Albalat is a Spanish aerospace engineer, currently based in Munich, Germany. In 2010, Andrea earned her masters in Aerospace Science and Technology, from UPC in Barcelona. Additionally, Andrea is an alumni of the International Space University’s (ISU’s) Summer Studies Program (SSP) and the CVA (Communauté des Villes Ariane) Summer School.

She started her professional career working as part of the ISU’s SSP 2008 organising committee in Barcelona. Since then, Andrea has worked at the European Space Agency as a Young Graduate Trainee in the Human Spaceflight and Operations Directorate (2011), and as the Executive Director of the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) 2011-2014.

Andrea is member of several IAF Committees, including the WD/YPP Committee and the Space Education and Outreach Committee. Andrea is organising the SpaceUp GLIC Munich, together with Claas Groehnfeldt, Luís Ferreira and Martin Losekamm.
