Dengyun YU

Mr. Dengyun Yu is the Deputy Director of the Science & Technology Committee of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) and the vice commander of China’s lunar exploration project. He is also the designer in chief of the high resolution remote sensing satellite GF-4, and the council member of Chinese Society of Astronautics (CSA).

Since 1988, he has actively participated in over 20 China’s spacecrafts, including DFH-3 communication satellite, ZY(resources)-1 satellite, ZY(resources)-2 satellite, Beidou navigation satellite system, manned space flight project, lunar exploration project, and small satellites. He has been dedicated to the education and research of space engineering, and has published over 50 papers on a number of domestic and international journals and conferences, written over 40 technical reports, and educated over 10 master and doctor students independently or jointly with other people.

He has a Doctor degree of Engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics.
