Pouyan Azari emigrated from Iran to Germany at the age of 19. A year later he started with his studies at the University of Wuerzburg. His field of study was Aerospace Informatics, which is a combination of Aerospace and Computer science. During that time, he became familiar with different space related topics from Automation, Real-time Operating Systems to Small satellites.
At the Second year of his studies he received the AIAA undergraduate Experience GNC Scholarship, to attend the GNC conference in Boston. For his bachelor thesis he was part of the the university satellite (UWE-3) team. He undertook the Space Debris Mitigation Assessments of UWE-3. From October 2014 he will start with Master of space Science at LTU in Sweden.
