In the frame of the 71st International Astronautical Congress (IAC) that will take place in Dubai from 12 to 16 October 2020, we would like to invite you to actively participate in the discussion by submitting a proposal for a Plenary, a Highlight Lecture, as well as a Global Networking Forum (GNF).
The IAC Plenary Program is divided into three categories (PP = PE + HLL + LBN):
- Plenary Events (PE): Plenary events held as topics of general scientific or technology interest, and with a broad level of interest that warrants presentation to the full Congress attendees.
- Highlight Lectures (HLL): Lectures on selected scientific or technology topics generally given by people who excel in the lecture field. Different from a PE, they have more scientific or technical depth, but are still of strong interest to the full Congress attendees.
- Late Breaking News (LBN): A presentation on an important topic of scientific or technological relevance that has occurred after the abstract selection and final program definition (between May and September each year) and of strong interest to the full IAC attendance.
The Plenary events and Highlights Lectures are selected by the IPC Steering Group in a well-defined competitive selection process. The Plenary Submission Form and Selection Criteria are available for download in the online IAF portal at www.iafastro.net under the restriction area for members only: General Assembly, make sure to submit your proposal no later than 11:59 PM CEST on 31st January 2020 to email@example.com
