== '''Terry Reese (1942-2012)''' ==

It is with great sadness that we learned of the sudden passing on 4 May 2012 of Terry Reese, a long time member of the Human Space Endeavours Committee. 
 
Terry first joined what was then the Space Stations Committee in 1998, retiring from the Human Space Endeavours Committee in 2010 after the Prague Congress. Terry contributed significantly to committee activities, serving for many years as the Co-Chair for the Overview Session. Terry’s professionalism and dedication, as well as his sense of humor will be greatly missed. 
 
Terry joined NASA in 1964 after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. His distinguished career began in Houston at the NASA Manned Spacecraft Center working on the Apollo Program. He left NASA in 1979 to pursue interests with several major aerospace contractors, before returning to NASA Headquarters in 2003, his last position being in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. 
 
He and his wife Jeannie were married for 35 years and have two sons.

Every two years the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) selects a President and ten Vice Presidents to lead the Federation and serve on the IAF Bureau. These volunteer officers are elected by the IAF General Assembly in accordance with procedures established in the IAF Constitution and By-Laws.
