Chang'E-6 Mission International Payloads Workshop

During the visit to China, the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) engaged in various activities.
In Hefei WANG Yiran, the vice president and secretary general of the Chinese Society of Astronautics, ZHANG Hongwen, member of the Standing Committee of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Hefei Municipal Party Committee, held a work meeting with IAF Executive Director Christian Feichtinger to introduce to him Hefei, a city of deep space and innovation, and the Deep Space Exploration Laboratory, which is an IAF new member.
In Shanghai from April 30th to May 4th, discussions were held with potential partners, including YANG Guang, Director General of the International Cooperation Department of Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology, and WANG Lin, Secretary General of Shanghai Society of Astronautics, aiming to foster future collaborations.
Following their Shanghai engagements, the IAF delegation, accompanied by Mr. WANG Yiran from the Chinese Society of Astronautics, proceeded to Haikou from May 2nd to 4th. They participated in the Chang'E-6 Mission International Payloads Workshop, witnessed the successful launch of Chang'E-6, and visited the Hainan Ecological Software Park.
The IAF recognized China's significant achievements in space programs and valued the contributions of Chinese members to the IAF' professional community. All parties expressed a commitment to further cooperation across multiple levels to advance space technology for the benefit of society.
