40th Space Symposium

7 – 10 APRIL 2025
COLORADO SPRINGS, UNITED STATES

The 40th Space Symposium, one of the largest international events dedicated to all sectors of space, organized by the Space Foundation, took place in Colorado Springs, United States from 7 – 10 April 2025 under the theme “Building Partnerships to Secure Our Future”.

The Symposium kicked off with the Space Generation Fusion Forum (SGFF), where the IAF Executive Director Christian Feichtinger addressed students and young professionals. His speech empowered the next generation of space leaders and further strengthened IAF’s ongoing collaboration with the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC).

The second day was highlighted by a Salon Breakfast, organized by the IAF, titled “Connecting @ll Space People for a Sustainable Future.” Moderated by Christian Feichtinger, the event featured prominent speakers such as Josef Aschbacher (European Space Agency), Steve Eisenhart (Space Foundation), Clay Mowry (IAF), and Enrico Palermo (Australian Space Agency).
This informal gathering offered an opportunity for colleagues to connect, share ideas, and share a warm invitation to attend the 76ᵗʰ International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2025) in Sydney, Australia, from 29 September to 3 October 2025.
