90th Anniversary Celebration of the Polish Embassy in Paris

The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) participated in the celebrations marking the 90th anniversary of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Paris, an important diplomatic and cultural occasion bringing together representatives of government, international organizations, and distinguished guests from across Europe.

Representing the IAF, Executive Director Christian Feichtinger had a meeting with Jacek Jaśkowiak, Mayor of Poznań, and Marcin Bosacki, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Poland, to further advance preparations for the 78th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2027), which will be hosted in Poznań, Poland from 27 September to 1 October 2027.

The anniversary celebration also highlighted the strong and longstanding relations between Poland and France, while underlining Poland’s growing engagement within the global community. In this context, the IAF reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the Polish stakeholders to deliver a successful and impactful IAC 2027.

The event reflected the spirit of international cooperation and diplomacy that remains at the core of the IAF mission.
