Emiliano Casalicchio

Dr. Emiliano Casalicchio is an Associate Professor in Computer Science at Sapienza University of Rome, Department of Computer Science. Formerly he has been associate professor at Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH) in Sweden and researcher at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, where He pursued his PhD in Computer Science in 2002. He was, also, a visiting researcher at George Mason University, Computer Science Department. Dr. Casalicchio research interests include large scale distributed systems, with a focus on the performance and security, autonomic computing, and Critical Infrastructures Protection. Current research projects are in the area of: cyber security in smart industry; fog computing; energy efficient data analytics. He is the author of more than 100 research papers. He serves as PC member/chair in international conferences and as reviewer for international journals. He is co-funder of the international workshop on Self-protecting systems and general chair of the 18th conference on Applied Cryptography and Network Security.
