Guy Larnac

Dr. Guy Larnac has been in charge of ceramic and glass ceramic composite development for Hermes shuttle project and ramjet for hypersonic Mach 12 airplane rocket from 1990 to 1995. From 1995 to 2000 he overseen composite electron beam curing development for military and civil propulsion programs. From 2000 to 2012 he has been (EADS) Head of Materials and Technologies lab for organic and ceramic matrix composites, thermal protection systems for military and civil re-entry, paint and surface treatment of composite and metals. From 2012 to 2024 he assumed the role of Technical Domain coordinator for R&T activities dealing with materials, structures, mechanisms and industrialization. In ArianeGroup, Dr. Guy Larnac is In charge of cooperation & strategy for materials, structures and industrialization and defining technology roadmaps for Ariane Group. Since 2020 he has been Sampe Europe Vice president and then President.
