Annie Handmer

Dr. Annie Handmer is the Satellite Policy and Industry Engagement Manager at Optus Satellite and Space Systems. She is also an Honorary Affiliate at the University of Sydney’s Faculty of Science, in the School of History and Philosophy of Science. She researches and writes about space policy, space law, and space debris. She is a member of the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), the Space Industry Association of Australia (SIAA), the Australia and New Zealand Space Law Interest Group, the Aerospace Futures Committee, the Australian Youth Aerospace Association (AYAA), and is also the host and creator of the Space Junk Podcast.
