Equinor • Senior Vice President Climate and Sustainability

Hilde Røed is Senior Vice President Climate & Sustainability at Equinor and has recently been heading up the work on Equinor’s Energy Transition Plan. Hilde joined Equinor in 2012. Before taking on the role as SVP in 2021, she headed up the company’s climate work and ESG reporting. Hilde has broad leadership experience from climate and sustainability management, including from the finance sector (DNB) where she worked for nearly ten years, and from the United Nations Development Programme where she worked on promoting public-private partnerships. Hilde holds a master’s degree in Society, Science and Technology from the University of Oslo. Hilde is based in Norway (Oslo).
