Dr Hilde Stenuit is Principal Scientist at Space Applications Services. Hilde is at the forefront in Europe of pioneering commercial access to space for research and technologies, with the first European commercial ISS service called ICE Cubes (International Commercial Experiment Cubes) through a PPP with ESA. She holds a Phd in astrophysics from the KU Leuven. Since then she has been working with Space Applications Services (BE). She worked as operations specialist for ISS modules, for spacecraft (ATV), and for research on National Soyuz missions and ISS. She supported ESA (ESTEC) as contractor of which more than a decade as part of ESA ISS Mission Science Office, doing scientific coordination and research planning of the complement of ISS science experiments.
