Marianna Valente

Marianna Valente is a second-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Management and Production Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino. She is also a MUL2 Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering research group member. She holds a bachelor's and master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, specializing in Space Engineering. Her research focuses on sustainability in the space sector. On the one hand, she focuses on general aspects of sustainability within the space sector and how these are related to the space economy through a Delphi study and an analysis of space literature. The rest of the research focuses on using satellite data to improve wind gust models and study the impact of climate change on aviation.
