Milica Milošev (Milica Milosev) is an environmentalist and climate activist with a Bachelor’s degree in Ecology and environmental protection and a Master’s degree Professor of Biology.

Milica is the Founder and Executive Director of Econnects, an international association based in Serbia, with the mission to bridge the gap between environment, space and society. She became interested in the space sector after winning the “Space4Youth” competition organized by the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) and supported by the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), with an idea of using space-based technologies for addressing the climate crisis and early-warning system. She represents SGAC as a National Point of Contact for Serbia. Milica was a part of the SGAC Space for Climate Action Policy Division under the Space Generation Advocacy and Policy Platform (SGAPP), which worked on writing the “Saving Our Future on Earth Through Our Presence in Space,” report that details the official policy position of the Space Generation Advocacy Council’s (SGAC) on the role of space in climate action.

Currently, Milica works in the MDPI, an open-access publishing company, as a Section Managing Editor for the journal “Sustainability” and a Group Leader.
