Robert Rovetto

Robert serves in: the IAF Space Traffic Committee, and the Space Debris Committee; the AIAA Space Traffic Management Working Group (where he is co-lead on terminology) and the Space Architecture Committee (where he contributed to an AIAA standards document), as well as in the IAASS, and the ISO Space Systems committee (where he continues to contribute to standards documents and proposals on topics such as space traffic management). He has specialties in aerospace terminology, taxonomy, and knowledge modeling for spaceflight and astro-related topics. This includes conceptual data modeling, ontology development, and classification. He is listed in the EU commission as a specialist in these topics. He also has an focus areas in space policy, law; and spaceflight rescue. Robert also has maritime operations and safety experience, and also serves the global water rescue community.
