Stephanie Wan is a global space partnerships and engagement leader working at the intersection of space exploration, sustainability, food systems, and cultural diplomacy. Her career spans NASA Headquarters, the U.S. Department of State, the Space Generation Advisory Council, and international space advocacy initiatives across the U.S. and Australia. As Co-Founder of Heritage Space Food, Stephanie advances global collaboration around sustainable food systems for space exploration while exploring how culture, trust, and human connection shape the future of space. In her role with Deep Space Food Consortium, Stephanie uses her extensive experience building cross-sector partnerships, engaging diverse communities, and advancing inclusive participation in science, technology, and space exploration. She is a leader in promoting gastrodiplomacy—using food as a tool for cultural exchange and public engagement—and has supported initiatives including the NASA–CSA Deep Space Food Challenge and broader efforts to expand the role of food in enabling humanity’s future beyond Earth.
