Takayoshi Fukuyo

Mr. Takayoshi Fukuyo is an associate professor of the Research Institute for Spatial Information Science and Technology, University of Tokyo. After conducting Amazon research activities at the University of Tokyo Graduate School, he worked as a JICA expert at the Natural Resources Institute of the Ministry of Environment, Brazil. From 2009, he worked for the Consulate General of Rio de Janeiro and for the Japanese Embassy in Brazil. From 2013, he had engaged in Japanese space policy development at the Office for National Space Policy Secretariat. After transfer to University of Tokyo in 2017, he has been promoting industry-academia-government collaboration and international development utilizing space and geospatial information.
