Tanita have been working on the academic area being a lecturer, a researcher, a supervisor, a project manager as a sophisticated expert in space technology and geoinformatics as well as being an executive officer in engaging strategic alliance both domestic and international levels.

Tanita, was a Chief of Instructional Media and Curriculum Development Division, has much experience in capacity building missions to enhance human resource competency, especially in ASEAN region by transferring knowledge; contributing international exchange; and conducting regional joint research projects under operations of ASEAN Research and Training Center for Space Technology and Applications (ARTSA) and Sirindhorn center of Geo-Informatics Master’s Program. The key research areas and expertise are climate and environmental changes, environmental model, remote Sensing for vegetation phenology detection, and cartographic design.

Nowadays, Tanita is a Director of Strategy Alliance Office. She is mainly responsible for fostering GISTDA products and services towards direct and indirect beneficiaries as well as engaging with global space agencies and international organizations for joint collaboration and further missions through global business value chain in space technology and geo-informatics.

The next targeted pathway, as the Director of Strategic Alliance office, is to push forward GISTDA as a hub of space-based technology in ASEAN and build the bridge with potential partners both national and global agencies for generating contributions of space missions and applications with the vision of delivering values from space for human, economic and societal benefit.
