Thomas is Engineer, M.S. in applied mathematics, Ph.D. in physics from Ecole Polytechnique, France and holds an MBA from the San Diego State University, USA. After a career as a scientist in the field of plasma physics, Thomas started more than 10 years of an entrepreneurial and investor journey in the sectors of neurotech, deeptech and digital between San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Early 2017, experiencing how fast the U.S. are embracing the NewSpace era and seeing the enormous potential of Space as a driver of disruptive innovation, Thomas decided to contributing to the emergence of the NewSpace made in France by joining CNES (the French Space Agency) where he is Advisor to the Director - in charge of innovation, applications and science. In his role, Thomas drives initiatives that foster the entrepreneurship spirit in and outside CNES. He leads the “Moonshot Institute” which is an Institute founded by CNES and dedicated to the Moon.
