Yanhua WU

China National Space Administration (CNSA) • Vice Administrator

Mr. Wu Yanhua is the vice administrator of CNSA and has held this role since 2014. As the vice administrator of CNSA, his responsibilities include space policy, space program and international cooperation. He serves as the acting chief-commander of Lunar exploration mission phase III and Long-march 5 mission. He is also the deputy chief-command for Lunar Exploration Mission and the deputy head of the leading group for high resolution earth observation system and china Mar exploration mission. From 1984 to 2002, he worked in China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology as division director and director successively and mainly focused on the mission planning. In 2002 Mr. Wu Yanhua transferred to China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and served as director of financial department, chief economist, chief financial officer, deputy general manager from 2002 to 2014. In 2014, Mr. Wu Yanhua was appointed as vice administrator of CNSA by state council. Mr .Wu Yanhua is a member of International Academy of Astronautics and consultant to the Presidium of the academic divisions of the Chinese science academy. Mr. Wu Yanhua holds doctor degree from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
