Call for Abstracts - Your research deserves the global stage
The International Programme Committee (IPC) invites abstract submissions for the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026), organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), hosted by the Turkish Space Agency (TUA) and co-hosted by SAHA Istanbul under the theme “The World Needs More Space”.
Researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and students are encouraged to submit original abstracts (max 400 words, in English, no figures) in one of five categories:
- A. Sience & Exploration
- B. Applications & Operations
- C. Technology
- D. Infrastructure
- E. Space & Society
There are more than 200 Technical topics to choose from!
Submit an Abstract for IAC 2026
Selected papers will be presented in Antalya and published in the official Congress Proceedings with an assigned DOI.
Call for Special Sessions (SpS) - Think interactive. Think fresh. Think multidisciplinary
We are looking for engaging, hands-on formats such as design sprints, fishbowls, workshops, that encourage audience participation and cross-sector dialogue.
Evaluation criteria:
- Must be participatory and interactive
- Must be multidisciplinary and cutting-edge
- Relevance to the congress theme “The World Needs More Space”
- Standard panels? Not suitable for an SpS.
