The Danish Astronautical Society was founded on 20 September 1949. The Society is devoted to the peaceful use of space, and its prime focus is to spread knowledge and information about spaceflight and space science. The Danish Astronautical Society participated in founding the International Astronautical Federation in 1951.
The prime focus of the Danish Astronautical Society is to spread knowledge and information about spaceflight and space science. The society arranges public meetings, lectures, company visits, portrait meetings and exhibitions. It brings together people interested in space and issues press information.
