Equatorial Launch Australia (ELA) delivers world-class spaceport and launch services for small to medium sized rockets. It supports rocket and engine testing, launch and recovery of payloads for orbital and suborbital missions, and launch returns.

At 12.6° south, the equatorially located Australian Space Centre (ASC) provides customers with access to multiple orbit options and the ability to leverage the positive effect of Earth’s rotational velocity near the equator. This natural boost reduces fuel requirements and increases payload capacity. The multi-user ASC offers Resident Launcher access to dedicated Space Launch Complexes, improving security and scheduling while minimising downtime for high cadence launch. The location also has minimal maritime and air traffic and year-round launch-conducive weather.

ELA’s commitment to technical excellence includes high-tech launch pads, state-of-the-art Horizontal Integration Facilities, and comprehensive launch services covering logistics, fuels, testing, and launch and mission support. Its TSA and ITAR-compliant facilities and mission technologies are paired with end-to-end launch engineering and support services that are cost-effective, operationally efficient, and designed to maximise customers’ commercial success. ELA’s customer-centric, full-service model reflects its mission every day: You build the rockets… we’ll take care of the rest™.
