Congratulations on the successful delivery of moon samples to Earth by Chang'e-5 lunar probe

The Chang’e-5 mission’s success highlights the progress of China’s space program

Dear Zhang Kejian,

On behalf of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) and personally, I would like to extend my most sincere congratulations on the successful delivery of moon samples to Earth by your Chang’e-5 lunar probe.
This successful delivery represents yet another major milestone for China’s space exploration and it is a testimony to the ingenuity and capabilities that CNSA has been working on and developing over the past years, reconfirming its position as a global leader and pivotal actor in the fields of space science.

The incredible accomplishment of Chang’e-5 spacecraft in gathering 2 kg of lunar samples from the volcanic plain of Mons Rümker in a three-week operation truly underlines China’s growing prowess and ambition in space.
Once again, congratulations! Sincerely,

Sincerely,
Pascale Ehrenfreund
