Accelerator Programme Supporting Startups & Technopreneurs

Singapore Space and Technology Ltd offers Southeast Asia’s first space-based accelerator programme that counts more than 40 local and foreign start-ups under its wing. The programme aims to help startups build a commercially viable business and supports them across multiple functions including fundraising, business development, overseas market expansion and marketing.

These startups develop cutting-edge technologies such as electric and green chemical propulsion systems for satellites and spacecraft, autonomous space navigation for in-orbit servicing and rendezvous docking, space robotics for space exploration, remote sensing, 5G connectivity, edge computing, cybersecurity, space-grade solar cells and space radiation shielding techniques.

Innovation Programme tackling Climate Change and Disaster Relief

Working with Partners to Promote Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Technologies

Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) have always been a crucial focus area for Singapore Space and Technology Ltd. Since 2018, the organisation has been organising the HADR programme annually with the support of multiple partners such as Airbus, Mercy Relief, RedR Australia, US Pacific Command, Singapore Defence Science and Technology Agency, and Singapore Civil Defence Force. The programme aims for space and data companies to develop innovative applications using satellite technologies and various other data sources, e.g., airborne and ground sensors, for HADR purposes on providing reliable communication, advanced satellite imagery for evacuation and disaster relief, data verification and analytics, and more.

Annual Space Convention Attended by Delegates from All Corners of the World

The well-established Global Space and Technology Convention (GSTC), wholly organised and created by Singapore Space and Technology Ltd, is held in Singapore annually since 2008. Engaging co-located workshops and seminars are strategically planned within the week to offer delegates a holistic experience.

Singapore Space and Technology Ltd’s space educational programmes, run by Space Faculty, provide an exciting opportunity for tertiary students and young professionals to explore the universe beyond our planet. Students can gain a deeper understanding of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts, as well as develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Space education encourages the learning of space exploration and its impact on our daily lives, from weather forecasting to GPS navigation.
