Important Information for GLEX 2021 Delegates

Some important informations to support you during your travel and your stay in St. Petersburg.

DOCUMENTS TO TRAVEL:

While traveling to Russia, in addition to your valid passport and visa (if applicable), you are kindly advised to have with you the invitation letter you have received after registration and the permission from the Russian government, sent by email from the IAF Secretariat. You may be requested to present these documents at passport control. These documents show that you have the permission from the Russian Government to travel to Russia. You are also required to show a negative PCR test result less than 72 hours old.

BADGES:

In order to collect your badge please go to the registration tent in front of the entrance to the Tavrichesky Palace.
Registration will be opened in the following days and times:

• Monday: 08:30 – 17:00
• Tuesday: 07:30 – 20:30
• Wednesday: 08:00 – 18:30
• Thursday: 08:00 – 18:00

Please show your passport at the reception desk and present a printed negative test result for COVID-19 of no more than 3 days (72 hours) to retrieve your badge. Vaccination certificates are not accepted.

PCR TEST:

PCR testing will be foreseen at the GLEX 2021 on June 14-17.

A nurse will provide the collection of biomaterial for the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) for PCR testing at the medical office at the venue.

The test results will be sent to the indicated email address. The translation of the test result into English is performed automatically and will be also sent to the indicated email address.

The COVID-19 tests can also be done on other days at the following addresses:

St. Petersburg, 5, Moiseenko st., office of SZTsDM.
The office is closed on June 12, Sunday is a day off.
For testing without recording, you must say the code word "ROSCOSMOS"

The test result readiness depends on the time of delivery of the swab; the minimum period is 6 hours.
Biomaterial samples are taken for the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) PCR test.
Test results are provided by email. The translation of the test result into English is performed automatically and is also delivered to a specified e-mail.

VENUE:

GLEX 2021 will be held in the Tavrichesky Palace (St. Petersburg, Shpalernaya st., 47). Tavrichesky Palace is located in the north-east of the historic centre, next to the Tavrichesky Garden (formerly the grounds of the palace). You can get there by feet from the closest metro station “Chernyshevskaya” or by buses No. 74 and No. 54 from the Moscow railway station (metro station “Ploschad Vosstaniya”).
