IAF Excellence in "3G" Diversity Award
The IAF Excellence in “3G” Diversity Award is intended to recognize IAF member organisations (industry, government, academia) and/or individual teams/projects within IAF member organizations worldwide for outstanding contributions to the fostering of “3G” (Geography, Generation, Gender) Diversity within the space sector.
The IAF Excellence in "3G" Diversity Award is intended to recognize IAF member organizations (industry, government, academia) (Category A) AND/OR individual teams/projects (Category B) within IAF member organizations worldwide for outstanding contributions to the fostering of “3G” (Geography, Generation, Gender) Diversity within the space sector.
This Award is intended as an annual award presented at the IAC, but is given only when nominations of exceptional merit are received.
Only IAF member organizations in good standing shall be eligible to receive the award.

During the International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2022) in Paris the IAF Bureau and General Assembly approved the creation of a new committee devoted to the promotion of Diversity initiatives within our communities. The committee strenghthens the efforts of the Federation in promoting inclusiveness and widens the scope of the previos IAF Excellence in “3G” Diversity Award Sub-Committee.
The new IAF Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Administrative Committee (IDEA) will be officially presented at the IAf Spring Meetings in paris on the occasion of the IAF IDEA “3G+” Diversity Breakfast.
