Klein & Lewis is an aerospace STEM education and research & development organization focused on building the next generation of aerospace scientists, engineers, and innovators through practical, research-driven learning.

The organization’s core goal is to democratize access to aerospace knowledge and R&D skills, particularly for students and early-career professionals who may not have traditional pathways into the space and aviation sectors.

Klein & Lewis bridges the gap between classroom theory and real-world aerospace research by emphasizing systems engineering, simulation, avionics, data analysis, and mission design.

Goals

• Develop research-ready aerospace talent with strong foundations in physics, engineering, and computational modeling

• Create a pipeline from STEM education to aerospace R&D, academia, and industry

• Support safe, legal, and simulation-driven rocketry and space systems research

• Contribute to national and international aerospace capacity building through education and collaboration Key Activities

• STEM Education Programs: Structured aerospace and rocketry programs for secondary and early tertiary learners, covering aerodynamics, propulsion theory, spacecraft systems, and mission lifecycle analysis

• Simulation & Modeling: Rocket and spacecraft trajectory modeling, aerodynamic analysis, and systems simulations using industry-standard and open-source tools

• Avionics & Data Systems: Design and bench-testing of flight electronics, sensors, telemetry concepts, and data logging systems

• Research & Documentation: Technical writing, research reports, capstone projects, and support for conference papers and academic collaboration

• Talent Development & Mentorship: Mentoring students and early researchers, preparing portfolios, and guiding progression into university labs, internships, and R&D roles

• Institutional Collaboration: Working with schools, universities, nonprofits, and space agencies to align programs with national and international aerospace objectives Klein & Lewis operates at the intersection of education, research, and innovation, using a safety-first, systems-engineering approach to prepare participants for meaningful contributions to aerospace research and development globally.
