The company has unique expertise in SAR, optical sensors, and analytics software to provide valuable information for users. Expertise of SARsatX staff includes: SAR airborne and satellite system design, development, and test (including multi-frequency SAR sensors)High-resolution optical camera design, construction, and testing for space deploymentAnalytics software for processing SAR and optical images, including advanced change detection and classification techniquesDeveloping an online platform called EarthLife for accessing a wide range of data sources for regional analysisThe ultimate goal of SARsatX is to launch a constellation of 16 small Earth Observation (EO) satellites called ArabiaEye, which will be owned and operated from within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The constellation will consist of 8 SAR satellites and 8 hyperspectral satellites, marking the first fully commercial EO satellites launched in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region. The aim is to achieve a 1-hour revisit time for MENA and a 4-hour revisit time worldwide, with onboard processing capabilities to increase efficiency and reduce the time needed to deliver insights.
