Founded in 1951, the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) is the world’s leading space advocacy body with over 563 Members in 81 countries, including all leading space agencies, industries, research institutions, universities, societies, associations, institutes and museums worldwide. Following its motto “Connecting @ll Space People” and its vision of “A space-faring world cooperating for the benefit of humanity”, the Federation advances knowledge about space, supporting the development and application of space assets by promoting global cooperation.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)
ISRO, the National Space Agency of India, has made remarkable strides, achieving numerous missions that have elevated India's stature in the global space community. ISRO has designed and developed of a range of launches vehicles and satellites making ISRO a key player in the global space market. A historic milestone was achieved in 2023 by the successful soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon’s southern polar region. ISRO is now developing its first human spaceflight mission under the Gaganyaan program and the establishment of the Indian Space Station, Bharatiya Antariksh Station (BAS) which will enable sustained human presence in space and provide a platform for cutting-edge research.

Astronautical Society of India (ASI) was setup in 1990 to foster the development of astronautics in India, to disseminate technical and other information related to astronautics by conducting technical meetings, bringing out technical publications, and organizing exhibitions. ASI has been acting as a premier professional body of space engineers, scientists and researchers and efforts are made to bring awareness of state of the art space activities among researchers and academia. Society is also playing an active role to promote the interests of other developing countries in the field of astronautics through various programs. ASI is a member of International Federation (IAF), Paris.
