An Outlook to GLOC 2026

Following the success of the first edition of the IAF Global Space Conference on Climate Change (GLOC 2023), the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) is pleased to announce that the second edition, GLOC 2026, will be hosted by its member, the Rwanda Space Agency (RSA), in Kigali, Rwanda. The conference is scheduled to take place from 2 to 4 June 2026.

The IAF and RSA will contribute to the global efforts to better understand and battle climate change through the use of space- based services and applications. The second edition of GLOC is designed to encourage the sharing of programmatic, technical and policy information, as well as collaborative solutions, challenges, lessons learned, and paths forward among all nations and stakeholders.
