Andøya Space is Norway’s operational space center, and a key strategic resource for Norway and Europe. Access to space is vital for scientific exploration, market demands and national security. The company began as a launch site for scientific research rockets in 1962 and has since evolved into a center for research, technology development, and innovation. The company has four main business areas: sub-orbital launch, orbital launch, space-related education, and testing of military technologies.
