The rapid expansion of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellations is redefining the architecture of space communications. The demand for resilient connectivity, low-latency services, and scalable satellite infrastructure is accelerating the transition toward large-scale multi-orbit space networks.
In this executive keynote, ASELSAN will present her vision for end-to-end LEO communication architecture, spanning the entire value chain from IC design up to the satellite constellation.
ASELSAN has been steadily expanding her capabilities across the space ecosystem, including space-qualified electronics, satellite communication payloads, smart platform solutions, ground infrastructure and advanced satellite communication terminals. These capabilities enable the development of integrated architectures allowing operators to build resilient and flexible networks.
First, the industry is moving toward integrated constellation architectures, where system performance is optimized across space, ground, and user segments rather than within individual components.
Second, Technical Challenges of LEO Communication Architectures . While LEO constellations unlock significant performance gains, they also introduce a new class of complex technical challenges that span multiple domains. One of the primary challenges is network orchestration at scale. Managing hundreds of satellites requires advanced algorithms for tracking, routing, and handover optimization. The complexity of large constellation systems requires a new level of system engineering integration, covering payload technologies, ground infrastructure, network orchestration and operational resilience.
Third, ASELSAN’s End-to-End Approach. ASELSAN addresses these challenges through a holistic “from chip to constellation” approach, delivering vertically integrated solutions across the entire LEO ecosystem. From Chip, Payload and Platform, Network and System to up to Cybersecurity by Design, ASELSAN’s approach will be presented. Through this keynote, ASELSAN will present how an end-to-end architectural approach — from chip to constellation — enables scalable, secure and resilient space communication systems.
The session will conclude with a strategic discussion on the evolution of global satellite communication architectures and opportunities for international collaboration in the emerging ecosystem.
