Challenges for the Future Development of Hybrid Space Communication Networks

Time: 11:35-12:45
Room: G3, Nest Convention Center
Format: Workshop

Satellite Communication Network enabled by LEO constellations are emerging as a key enabler for secure, low-latency, and resilient space operations. This Special Session will examine the major challenges facing Hybrid Space Communication Network deployment, including large-scale satellite harmonization, cost-benefit tradeoffs, cross-segment interoperability across space/air/ground systems, and resilience against cyber-physical threats. Bringing together space agencies, industry, and academia, the session aims to identify common strategies for sustainable and robust future communication networks.
