How far have diagnostic imaging capabilities in spaceflight progressed? Is ultrasound the limit, or are other imaging techniques ready for emergency care in space? This interactive Special Session invites participants to explore the role of X-ray imaging and other imaging techniques for astronauts’ health monitoring. Through a fishbowl format, participants will debate with experts about advantages, risks, and technological challenges in this field, helping shape the direction for medical imaging in human space exploration.
