IAF GNF Session: Space Technology for Emerging Countries

The panel will focus on different applications of space technology and will showcase examples of the use of space technology, data and applications in support of sustainable economic, social and environmental development, and how countries have worked together to enable international cooperation to enable the space applications. The panel will showcase examples of the use of space data, applications and technology for socio-economic benefits of programmes like UNOOSA flagship Access to Space For All, Copernicus and E-GNSS, SERVIR and ARSET[JDRV1] will be showcased. Senior panelists will explore the different topics, share lessons learned and explore space-related opportunities.

The structure of the panel will take the form of short introductory presentations from the panelists followed by a moderated panel discussion.
