Professor Anna Moore is the Director of the Ins2tute for Space at the Australian National University and holds the title of Vice Chancellor’s Entrepreneurial Professor. She played a crucial role in the formation of the Australian Space Agency, serving on the Space Expert Reference Group. An esteemed Professor of Astronomy, she is renowned for her expertise in space instrumentation. Formerly, she led the Advanced Instrumentation and Technology Centre at Mount Stromlo Observatory. Her honors include the 2025 Jackson-Gwilt Medal, the 2024 Chancellor’s Award for Distinguished Service, and numerous accolades for leadership and innovation in space and diversity.
