Prof. Fei Xing is the professor at Departmant of Precision Instrument, Tsinghua University. Prof. Xing received the B.S. degrees in Mechanical and Electronics Engineering from Tongji University, China, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree in Instrument Science and Technology from Tsinghua University, China, in 2007. Since 2007, He has joined Tsinghua University, holding as lecturer(2007-2010), associate professor(2010-2021), and professor(2021-Present). He is a national-level high talent, and has won second prizes for National Technological Invention Award(2012, 2019), and the Scientific Exploration Award(2021).

His research focuses on Micro/Nano satellite technology, intelligent microsystems, and space optical sensing, with applications in spacecraft attitude determination, target measurement, and intelligent payloads. His ongoing research is dedicated to wide-field, high-resolution, miniaturized, and integrated optical sensing systems, with special focuses on MEMS-modulated optical measurement, and intelligent navigation-positioning microsystems. These works covers the full workflow of system design, device fabrication, calibration and testing, signal processing, and engineering implementation. His recent research further extends to all-day optical navigation and positioning, high-precision target localization, and innovative intelligent space systems. Currently, 10 nano-satellites and over 1000 sets of attitude measurement and navigation microsystems are being developed and deployed in orbit.
