With 30 years in the space sector, Dr Tolga Ors has worked across organisations including Intelsat, Inmarsat, OneWeb, AST SpaceMobile, CGI, the Future AI and Robotic for Space Hub, and the Alan Turing Institute. He holds an MSc in Satellite Communications and a PhD from the University of Surrey, an MSc in Project Management from George Washington University, and an MSc with Distinction in Computational Cognitive Neuroscience (with a focus on AI) from Goldsmiths, University of London. As Managing Director of New Space Consulting Ltd, his work spans technology transfer, public-private partnerships, and the application of AI and robotics in space. A consistent thread throughout his career has been using space capabilities to deliver real-world impact, including the use of Earth Observation and satellite communications in disaster response to reduce suffering and save lives. Tolga regularly writes on LinkedIn about the New Space ecosystem, spotlighting emerging startups and sharing analysis on the trends shaping the sector’s next chapter.
