Rogério Luiz Verissimo Cruz

Rogério Luiz Verissimo Cruz is a retired General Officer of the Brazilian Air Force currently serving as Director of Space Sector Governance at the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB). Throughout his distinguished career, he has held key leadership roles across Brazil’s space ecosystem, including Director of the Alcântara Launch Center (CLA), Head of the Space Activities Sector at the Ministry of Defense, Head of the Space Activities Section of the Aeronautics Staff, and Director of Space Transportation and Licensing at AEB. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Sciences from the Air Force Academy (1982), a Master’s degree in Aerospace Sciences from the Air Force University (2005), and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Brasília (2023).
