Jennifer Lynn Woolley Ph.D. is an associate professor of management and entrepreneurship at Santa Clara University. Her research and teaching focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, and the emergence of firms, industries, and technologies. Her recent work examines the relationship between founding teams, intellectual property, public policy, and firm outcomes. Dr. Woolley's research has been published in the Academy of Management Discoveries, Organization Science, Strategy Science, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Product Innovation Management, and Advances in International Management Research Series. She has presented her work at many conferences including the Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, DRUID, and Corporate Social Responsibility Americas conference. She is also an editorial board member of the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Business and Management. Woolley also participated in the creation of the California Program for Entrepreneurship at Santa Clara University, an intensive training program for non-matriculating entrepreneurs. She teaches in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation. Her consulting work focuses on helping entrepreneurs bring ideas to fruition.
