Fatoumata Kebe

Fatoumata Kebe works as a researcher at the French company SpaceAble on Space Traffic Management. She is a member of the International Astronomical Union’s Executive Council Working Group on Dark & Quiet Sky Protection. She is the founder and president of Ephémérides, an association that organizes seminars, workshops and observations of the sky for marginalized communities in both Paris and Bamako' regions.

She has developed a solar powered system of irrigation through her company Connected Eco that monitors water usage and ensure both quality and quantity in food production where it is needed most, while preserving the natural environment. Her project was awarded by the Young Innovators Competition, an initiative led by the International Telecommunication Union, the United Nations agency specialized in Telecommunications.
