Ms. NIGAR SHAJI, is currently Associate Director, Projects responsible for steering all the ISRO developed spacecrafts. Before this assignment, she was Programme Director, Low Earth Orbit &Planetary missions is responsible for the development all the ISRO developed low earth orbiting spacecraft and interplanetary missions. She is also Project Director for Aditya-L1 spacecraft, the first Indian Space Solar Observatory at Sun-Earth Lagrangian point for solar studies. Started the career as spacecraft test engineer, travelled through the cascades of career ladder with illustrious contributions. Holds additional responsibility as Study Director for Mission to Venus and EXO world Mission for the study of planets beyond the solar system.
