Prof. WANG Qiang, Acting Director-General of Technology and Engineering Center for Space Utilization(CSU), Chinese Academy of Sciences. Commander in Chief of the Space Utilization System of China Manned Space Program. His research focuses on system engineering, electronic information and space communications, control theory and control engineering, with a series of achievements in space communication algorithms, devices, and systems. These include: a slot synchronization method based on the channel asymmetry of PPM-SNSPD systems; a method for computing the transmission time delay of optical pulse signals; a time-delay calibration method and communication apparatus for photodetector arrays; and a probabilistic-shaping-based PPM photon-counting optical communication method, device, and system.
