Dr Sara Webb is an astrophysicist, science communicator, and Course Director of Swinburne Astronomy Online at Swinburne University of Technology. Her research spans the discovery and classification of rare cosmic events, the application of artificial intelligence in astronomy, and the use of space-based environments such as the International Space Station for microgravity science.

Sara leads Swinburne’s flagship space education and outreach programs, including national student challenges that send experiments to space, inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers. She is also a mission director for multiple payloads destined for the ISS, in partnership with international collaborators.

Recognised in the Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 list (Science & Healthcare), Sara is an active voice for diversity and inclusion in STEM and is widely sought after as a speaker and commentator.
