Dr Sara Webb is an astrophysicist and science communicator at Swinburne University of Technology. Her research spans fast-evolving astronomical transients, machine learning for space applications, and microgravity science. She is the Course Director for graduate programs in Swinburne Astronomy Online, and Program Lead for Swinburne’s microgravity program, which sends experiments to the International Space Station. She also leads national outreach initiatives to inspire the next generation of space leaders. Sara was named in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia (2025) and is a recipient of multiple national awards for her science and science communication.
