Madis Vooras

Estonian Space Office • Head

Madis Võõras (born 28 July 1955) is the head of the Estonian Space Office and the CERN office. Previously, he was the Chairman of the Management Board of the public limited company Klement (1994–2002). From 1978 to 1991, he worked as an engineer and inventor at TTTK Mistra. He is a co-author of six patents.

Madis Võõras graduated from Väike-Maarja Gymnasium in 1973, graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Tallinn University of Technology in 1979, later studied business administration at the University of Tartu and received a master's degree there in 1999 with the thesis "Business Process Optimization in Clothing Production".
