Tetsuya Kanata is a General Manager leading the development of communication, command, and data handling systems in Toyota Motor Corporation’s Space Mobility Development Division. Building on his background in electronic component and power semiconductor development for hybrid electric vehicle applications, Mr. Kanata is currently engaged in the development of a crewed pressurized rover. Drawing on his cross disciplinary engineering experience, Mr. Kanata aims to enhance Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance in space missions and contribute to the advancement of human space exploration.
