Philippe Clerc

Philippe Clerc is responsible for compliance and corporate ethics at the General Inspectorate of CNES, the French space agency. He has held several expert and management positions in the legal field within this institution, at ArianeGroup, and at the Ministry of Space, where he coordinated inter-ministerial discussions with industry and space operators in preparation for the law of July 3, 2008. He is a former auditor of the 53rd national session of the Institute for Higher National Defense Studies, a member of the International Academy of Astronautics, a correspondent of the Air and Space Academy, an emeritus member of the French Aeronautical and Astronautical Association, and Chevalier of the Order of Academic Palms. He is the author of several books and articles on space policy and law, and lectures on these subjects at several universities and schools in France and abroad.
